QOCS Orthopaedics - Replacment Hyper-v Server
Organisation: Queensland Combined Orthopaedic Specialists are one of Queensland’s largest group of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Specialising in surgery of the spine, lower limb and upper limb and are able to treat a broad range of surgical and non-surgical conditions. All of their Surgeons are fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and members of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
Challenge: The project included building and implementing a new Hyper-V host server, upgrading hardware and O/S on an existing Hyper-V host server and implementing a new SQL Server, all done with no impact to the daily operations of the client.
The strategy required the necessary design and deployment plan to achieve the following:
Physical Server Infrastructure
Establish a virtual infrastructure platform
